Passenger layouts for sedans and SUVs
Sedan / SUV requests can be assessed around an approximate three-to-four-passenger need; the exact number depends on the registered armored layout. Luggage, additional personnel and child seats affect space. The standard S-Class comfort page is not an armored-vehicle certificate; allocation is confirmed separately.
What belongs in the specification file?
Request the proposed vehicle’s identity, issuing body, test standard and class, the vehicle or component covered by the certificate and relevant maintenance information. A glass or material certificate does not prove the whole vehicle was tested at the same level. VPAM BRV covers vehicle ballistic testing; VPAM ERV separately covers blast-resistance testing.
Equipment checklist
Define ballistic glass, body protection, reinforced brakes / suspension, run-flat systems, intercom, fire or air systems with your qualified adviser. Equipment is not universal. Confirm run-flat range and speed conditions using the specific vehicle and system documentation, not a general website statement.
Three confirmations before allocation
First assess the proposed vehicle and documentation against the requirement. Then confirm passenger, luggage and itinerary suitability. Finally agree driver, additional personnel, pricing and change conditions in writing. Close protection or escort personnel are not automatically included in vehicle hire.

Separate the requirement from the photograph
A sedan’s appearance, model name or markings cannot verify its armoring specification. Begin by identifying the required service and who is qualified to assess it. If a corporate security contact or competent adviser has defined a vehicle requirement, share the operationally necessary part. Assess the proposed vehicle using its own documents
